GeoEner PQM

Power Quality Management Software

Continuously monitors voltage sags, harmonics, flicker and unbalance; automatically audits against EN 50160 and regulatory power quality criteria, and produces audit-ready reports.

GeoEner PQM is power quality management software that measures, monitors and proves the technical quality of the electricity grid. It collects vendor-independent data from field power quality analyzers via Modbus, OPC UA and REST, and standardizes all measurements in a single time-series archive with 10-year retention. It captures voltage sags, swells, interruptions and transients at millisecond resolution with instant alarms, and automatically audits voltage magnitude, unbalance, harmonics and flicker using EN 50160 and IEC 61000-4-30 methodology. Regulatory power quality reports (standard tables, weekly voltage sag table, raw data export) are produced in one click; measurement points are scored against regulatory limits, pinpointing weak spots per feeder and transformer. Root cause analysis helps distinguish whether a disturbance originates upstream (grid) or downstream (consumer). Reports are available as PDF, Excel, CSV and HTML, can be pushed to SAP-side services via EDVARS integration, and delivered by scheduled e-mail. Built for distribution companies, industrial facilities, organized industrial zones and large consumers; supports LDAP/SSO and role-based authorization.

Capabilities

What GeoEner PQM does

Module by module.

  • sag · swell · interruption · transient

    Real-time monitoring

Captures voltage sags, swells, interruptions and transients at millisecond level and raises instant alarms.

  • IEC 61000-4-30 methodology

    EN 50160 compliance

Automatically audits voltage magnitude, unbalance, harmonics and flicker using the standard measurement window.

  • Tables 1 · 2 · 3 · 5

    Regulatory technical quality reports

Standard tables 1/2/3/5, the weekly voltage sag table and raw data exports — produced audit-ready.

  • Per feeder and transformer

    Automatic performance scoring

Scores measurement points against regulatory limits and pinpoints weak spots per feeder and transformer.

  • upstream / downstream

    Root cause analysis

Helps determine whether a disturbance originates on the grid side or the consumer side.

  • Modbus · OPC UA · REST

    Device-independent architecture

Standardizes power quality recorders of any brand and model in a single database.

  • THD · Pst/Plt · u₂ · TDD

    Harmonics, flicker, unbalance

Tracks individual harmonics, total distortion and negative sequence, with optional IEEE 519 voltage/current auditing.

  • widget · trend · live map

    Dynamic dashboard and map

KPIs, event trends, the weak-spot list and a live map bring the state of the grid onto a single screen.

  • PDF · Excel · CSV · EDVARS

    Reporting and integration

Ready-made regulatory templates stay audit-ready at all times, with automatic performance scoring charted over weekly and monthly windows. Prepared reports are pushed to SAP-side services through EDVARS integration and delivered straight to stakeholders by scheduled e-mail.

Process

How It Works

  1. 1

    Collect — field devices

Measurements are taken from power quality analyzers over Modbus, OPC UA and REST, independent of brand and model.

  2. 2

    Store — time-series archive

All measurements are standardized in a single database and archived for 10 years with compression and retention policies.

  3. 3

    Analyze — compliance engine

EN 50160, regulatory and IEEE 519 criteria are audited, and a performance score is computed for each measurement point.

  4. 4

    Deliver — reports and dashboards

Output is produced through dashboards, regulatory reports and EDVARS export; reports reach stakeholders by scheduled e-mail.

Key Benefits

  • Audit-ready regulatory reports in one click
  • Vendor-independent: all analyzers on one platform
  • 10-year measurement archive
  • Liability boundaries clarified with data

Who Is It For?

  • Distribution companies

Audit technical quality obligations automatically, produce regulatory reports in one click and target weak feeders precisely.

  • Industrial facilities

Spot sags and harmonics affecting the production line early, identify their source and reduce losses.

  • Industrial zones and large consumers

Monitor quality issues on the shared grid and clarify liability boundaries with data.
